Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science
Part of Maurice A. Ferré Park in Downtown, this is one of the few institutions in the world that boasts a science museum, aquarium and planetarium. The 500,000-gallon Gulf Stream Aquarium offers three levels featuring sharks, stingrays and tropical fish. The cutting-edge planetarium is just as impressive with a 250-seat auditorium and 3-D capable projectors displaying 16 million colors.
