No queer traveler's trip to Miami would be complete without a pilgrimage to its famed 12th Street Beach. Located in South Beach's Lummus Park, running along Ocean Drive, this stretch of beach is hard to miss. Look out for the rainbow flags and beautiful boys with towels in tow. It's not just a feast for the eyes, 12th Street Beach is the central hub of the gay scene, steps away from some of the most popular nightlife spots (including the famous Palace Bar) and a key location for Pride celebrations. In fact, the beach is such an important part of Miami, it was extended to 11th Street in a ribbon-cutting ceremony earlier this year. Insiders advise to save time searching for parking along Ocean Drive, and grab a spot in a garage on 13th Street and Collins.
