On a recent episode of ABC's What Would You Do?, a transgender woman is shopping in an upscale boutique when she is set upon by a transphobic sales clerk who tells her that a man shouldn't be wearing the clothing, asks her if she's buying the dress for a costume, and tells her that “real women” won't want to wear the dress after she has tried it on.
What do the customers do? In all the cases presented here, they do the right thing.
