GOP members of the Senate have confirmed Neil Gorsuch to the U.S. Supreme Court, but only after denying a vote on the nomination of Merrick Garland, President Obama’s pick, and demolishing Senate rules so that from now on only a simple majority of votes is required to confirm a nominee.
