Celine Dion made Adele a part of her New Year's Eve concert at The Colosseum by covering her megahit “Hello”.
Celine resumed her Caesar's Palace performances on December 30 amid her husband Rene Angelil's battle with throat cancer. The couple, who married when Celine was 26 in 1994, celebrated their 21st wedding anniversary over the Christmas holiday, and apparently the singer is solely focused on caring for Angelil:
Her sister-in-law Denise, married to Celine's oldest brother Clement, told the [National Enquirer]:
“She takes no time for herself. All she does is look after Rene. There is medical staff in the house, but it's Celine who leads. They are the experts and take care of all the medical issues, but Celine is on top of everything. She knows exactly what is going on. She just wants the very best for him.”
Clement added: “Rene wants Celine to continue her residency at Caesars. He wants her to get outside the house and concentrate on singing, It's helped her to have something to focus on. She's happy he made an improvement.”
