A new ad for British-based software company Thunderhead features some serious man-on-man nipple suckling.
Thunderhead describes its software as designed and built to enable “brands to better engage with their customers.” In other words, Thunderhead is supposed to help brands know more about what their customers really want.
In that vein, the new ad titled simply “The Thunderhead” shows a car salesman floundering as he tries to sell a new car to a customer who feels she's not getting what she's after. Enter Thunderhead, a Norse god/Tom of Finland crossover who personifies all that the Thunderhead software purportedly enables its customers to do. Thunderhead sweeps the hapless salesman off his feet and telepathically communicates to the salesman what the customer wants–through his nipple, or maybe more appropriately the teat of knowledge, which the salesman sucks.
Having successfully imparted his knowledge (the customer would like a blue convertible), Thunderhead celebrates by busting some moves with corporate bureaucrats for back up dancers.
After this whirlwind experience, the salesman–though a bit flustered from this stimulating experience–successfully connects with his customer and sells her a car.
Advertising perfection.
