Last week, I posted about some ugly trolling by The O'Reilly Factor of openly gay Colorado House Speaker Mark Ferrandino. O'Reilly's Jesse Watters ambushed Ferrandino and questioned his opposition to "Jessica's Law", which imposes excessive mandatory sentences for first-time offenders of child molesters, yet the segment seemed to link Ferrandino's sexuality and support for gay marriage to his lack of opposition to such predators.
Denver Post columnist Curtis Hubbard called him on it, and O'Reilly had him on the show last night.
"You've got a nerve calling me a homophobe," O'Reilly ranted, before accusing Hubbard of being a "disgraceful…smear merchant" and a "charlatan".
