Hoping to bolster support for new EPA regulations that could double cars' gas mileage and to highlight GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney's opposition to an expansive EPA, the Save Our Environment Action Fund is currently running an ad that starring a dog bearing a striking resemblance to Seamus Romney, the family dog Mitt Romney famously strapped to the top of a car during a family road trip.
In the 30-second spot, the dog listens warily as radio journalist report on new fuel efficiency regulations that will double mileage, meaning the poor pooch will have to ride on the top of the car for twice the time. Poor pooch.
Watch the clever ad, AFTER THE JUMP.
